Martine Clark is the Executive Headteacher of Byron Court Primary School and a satellite provision at Ashley Gardens. She is also the Executive Headteacher of Oliver Goldsmith Primary School. Martine is the Vice Chair of the Brent Schools Partnership, which is working in partnership with Brent’s School Improvement Service to provide school to school support and professional development opportunities for teachers and support staff in Brent. Byron Court is a designated Teaching School and as such she leads the Brent Teaching School Alliance (BTSA) In recognition of this role, Martine has also been appointed as a National Leader of Education. In addition to this, Martine is working as an Additional Ofsted Inspector for Tribal. Martine's particular areas of expertise are Leadership and Management, Teaching and Learning, Literacy, Modern Foreign Languages, Art, and EAL.

Anita Samani is the Head of School at Byron Court Primary School and a satellite provision at Ashley Gardens. She has had overall responsibility for students who are placed at the school, for many years. As the School’s Initial Teacher Training (ITT) lead for School Direct, she has worked collaboratively with the Gateway Teaching School Alliance to recruit and train the next generation of teachers. She has recently become a member of the Institute of Education’ s Partnership Board, which has provided the opportunity to develop a close relationship with the IOE, in order to ensure that students who join the Brent Teaching School Alliance’s Teacher Training programme get the best possible start to their teaching career.

Trudi Mooteealoo is the Director of the Brent Teaching School Alliance (BTSA). She is an NCTL and Institute of Education accredited facilitator for leadership development. Trudi delivers the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) in Brent and Enfield. In addition to this she has designed and continues to deliver initial teacher training and other professional development courses for primary teachers. Trudi has worked closely with schools within the borough supporting them to raise standards in teaching and learning.

Anne Edwards is the Student Teacher Mentor at Byron Court Primary School. She is an experienced outstanding teacher on the school’s Wider Leadership Team, who has taught for over 9 years. An expert in KS1, Anne has been involved in the mentoring of more than 10 students who have gone on to be successful teachers. She has worked alongside The Institute of Education, University of Cumbria, Tower Hamlets and The Gateway Teaching School Alliance and their students. As a mentor, Anne has worked alongside several NQTs and supported their first years in teaching. Operating with an open-door policy, she is willing to welcome observers into her classroom and is approachable and supportive. Her previous students have all spoken highly of her. They have left feeling inspired by their time teaching with her and valued the support they have received. Enjoying working with students and NQTs, Anne finds their enthusiasm infectious and their ideas inspiring.

Veronica Glenn is the Deputy Headteacher and Inclusion Leader at Byron Court Primary School and its satellite provision at Ashley Gardens. She has responsibility for the research and development activities undertaken within the Brent Teaching School Alliance. Research projects undertaken to date include the National College for Teaching and Leadership’s ‘Closing the Gap’ research into literacy and maths interventions and the London Schools Excellence Fund’s ‘Principles into Practice’ research aimed at closing the attainment gap for EAL pupils.
